He lived at the coast in BC for many years before moving to the Okanagan area in 1976 and then to Redcliff, AB in 1995. He loved country and old time music. He played many instruments for many years until arthritis in his hands wouldn’t let him play anymore. He loved to dance. He loved the jam sessions at Ivy’s when she and her family would play. He loved to wheel and deal and go to auctions and garage sales and to have garage sales. He was self-employed all his life. He ran many different businesses such as garbage collecting, scrap metal, and long haul trucking. He was always looking for different opportunities. When on acreages he always had cattle, pigs, chickens, and even horses. He loved to talk to people and to have people around. He enjoyed visiting family and friends and having them visit him. He enjoyed his talks with his grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He enjoyed the years he and Ivy spent together dancing, gardening, sitting on the deck relaxing at his place.
