Marion Horne

1928 ~ 2019

Marion Lauretta Horne, passed away after a lengthy illness in Medicine Hat on Monday, October, 21, 2019, at the age of 91 years. She is survived by her four children, Richard (Marian), Patty (Brian), Donald R. (Cathy) and Marjorie; eight grandchildren, Marina, Whitney, Christy (Jamie), Tyrell (Angelina), Kyla, Taylor, Shannon and Trinity as well as five great-grandchildren, Tessa, Ashley, Devyn, Seth and Emma. Marion was predeceased by her husband, Donald; parents, Merritt and Lillian Smith; brother, Stanley as well as her sister, Norma. Marion enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid potter. She was a very independant and strong willed individual who will be deeply missed and forever cherished. At Marion’s request, her life will be silently remembered by family and friends without the proceedings of a formal funeral service.
