U-S Democrats announce USMCA a done deal

USMCA trade pact finalized

WASHINGTON – House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has announced an agreement on a modified North American trade pact, calling it a “victory for America’s workers.”

Just before she announced her support, Trump said the revamped U-S-Mexico-Canada Agreement will “be great” for the United States.

Trump tweeted that quote — “It will be the best and most important trade deal ever made by the USA. Good for everybody – Farmers, Manufacturers, Energy, Unions – tremendous support. Importantly, we will finally end our Country’s worst Trade Deal, NAFTA!”

Canada’s Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland is in Mexico where she’s been meeting with officials from the other two trade partners to finalize the agreement.
