Police charge man following 7-11 robbery in September

MEDICINE HAT, AB — The Medicine Hat Police Service has a charged a Dunmore man in connection with a robbery at a 7-11 store in September.

The robbery occurred at the Carry Drive 7-11 on September 11 at 11:39 p.m. According to a release from police at the time, a suspect entered the store, produced a weapon and demanded cash, and fled the store with an undisclosed amount of cash and merchandise. Nobody was injured in the robbery.

The robbery was one of two which hit the store during the same month. A male youth was charged in connection with an unrelated robbery on September 30.

Cameron Beaudoin, 26, is charged with robbery with a firearm (or imitation) and wearing a disguise with intent to commit an indictable offence in connection with the Sept. 11 robbery. He was released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in Medicine Hat Provincial Court on December 12, 2019.
