HANNA, AB — RCMP think they’ve arrested one of the person’s responsible for recent A-T-M thefts in Oyen and Hanna.

The latest incident happened at 5:30 yesterday morning, when a stolen pick up truck was used to smash the main entrance of the Canada Grey Motor Inn in Hanna.

The suspects then pulled the A-T-M from the building.

The stolen vehicle was later found in Consort.

Police were able to find a suspect later yesterday afternoon and after a lengthy pursuit that involved Mounties from across East Central Alberta, an arrest was made.

A sawed-off pump action shot gun and break and enter tools were also recovered.

Charges have not been brought before the court at this time, identity of the accused will not be provided until that has occurred.
