Three dead moose found south of village of Cereal

An investigation is underway after three dead moose were found in a ranchers field south of the village of Ceral.

Fish and Wildlife officers are seeking any information on the deaths.

On September 12, officers discovered a cow and a calf moose dead in the field.

Further investigation determined the moose were shot and left there.

Twelve days later on September 24, officers responded to a call about another dead moose on the property.

A yearling moose was found about 200 metres from where the other two were discovered, and it was determined it was shot around the same time as the other two.
