Correction: Oberlin College-Racial Dispute story
CLEVELAND — In a story June 13 about a $33 million jury award in a lawsuit against Oberlin College, The Associated Press reported erroneously that David Gibson and his son, Allyn, received punitive damages. It was David Gibson’s father, also named Allyn Gibson, who was part of the award. The story also erroneously reported an $11 million award for compensatory damages was made June 12. It was June 7.
