Medicine Hat weightlifter wins three medals at Special Olympics World Games

ABU DHABI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES — A second Medicine Hat athlete has won several medals at the Special Olympics World Games.

Christine Sullivan, a powerlifter, is coming home with two silver medals and a bronze medal after competing in her events on Wednesday.

Sullivan won the silver medals in the bench press and deadlift, and won the bronze medal in the Combined Squat, Bench Press and Deadlift. She finished in fourth place in the squat category.
