Local resident wins $250,000 on crossword ticket

MANYBERRIES, AB – Judith Collins has always enjoyed playing crossword-style Zing games, but today she has 250,000 new reasons to love playing.

The resident of Manyberries won $250,000 on her CROSSWORD DELUXE lottery ticket.

“I scratched the ticket and then scanned it on the Mobile app,” she said. “I saw that I won, but I couldn’t believe what I was seeing.”

“I had to check the ticket a few times before I believed it,” she continued. 

Collins said she is still in shock following her win and now, the planning begins on how she will spend her winnings.

“I’ll probably do some home renovations to start,” she said. “More than anything, my win is going to make retiring a bit easier.”

Collins bought her DELUXE CROSSWORD ticket at the Flying J, located at 2194 Saamis Drive in Medicine Hat.
