Temporary repairs being made on Sierra Boulevard Southwest

MEDICINE HAT, AB — Medicine Hat crews will be making temporary repairs to a section of Sierra Boulevard Southwest Wednesday night.

Temporary surface mats will be placed on the road between South Ridge Drive and Sunrise Gate. The work is expected to begin at 10 p.m.

The temporary mats, the city says, will allow for two lanes of traffic in both directions until permanent repairs can be made. According to the city, asphalt plants are expected to begin the production of hot mix asphalt in the coming weeks, and the public will be advised when repairs will be taking place.

Flag crew members will be directing traffic while the surface mats are installed, and drivers are reminded to obey all workers and signage while work is ongoing.
