Release granted for man charged with second-degree murder
MEDICINE HAT, AB — One of the two men charged with second-degree murder in connection with a New Year’s Eve homicide has been released from custody.
Luke Boxell, 21, was granted release during an appearance at Court of Queen’s Bench on Tuesday. He was released on a $10,000 cash surety and strict conditions.
Boxell has been released into the care and supervision of his immediate family in Manitoba, and will be under house arrest there for 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
