Rattlers drop close pre-season contest against Mount Royal

MEDICINE HAT, AB – Medicine Hat College’s women’s basketball team continued their pre-season series against Calgary opponents on Friday night at a brand new gymnasium.

The Rattlers played host to the Mount Royal Cougars for the exhibition match, which was held at the newly refurbished Medicine Hat High School.

It was the second game of the pre-season for the Rattlers, after falling to the University of Calgary Dinos by an 84-43 score.

The Rattlers and Cougars traded leads throughout the evening, with Mount Royal eventually squeaking out a 55-52 win over Medicine Hat College.

Exhibition games continue next week for the Rattlers, as the men’s and women’s teams face Rattlers alumni squads on September 23.
