53 year old man taken into custody for 2 bank robberies in Medicine Hat

MEDICINE HAT, AB – A suspect is in Medicine Hat Police custody in connection with two bank robberies.
On October 19, 2017 at the Royal Bank of Canada (2901 13th Ave SE, Medicine Hat) a man entered and produced a note demanding cash. He was given an undisclosed amount of money.
On October 20,2017 the same man entered the Bank of Montreal (3215E Dunmore Rd. SE), approached the teller and left with an undisclosed amount money.
A 53 year old male from Winnipeg area is awaiting charges of two counts of Robbery. No weapons were used in either robbery.
