Bow Island Emergency Services rescues stranded hunter

BOW ISLAND, AB — Earlier today Bow Island Emergency Services received a call about a hunter who was stranded in the middle of a small reservoir.
In a post on their Facebook page at 7:50 a.m. two rescue vehicles were dispatched for a water rescue north east of Bow Island.
A group of three firefighters paddled out to the hunter in a small boat.
A firefighter who was in the water secured the patient with a flotation device and helped the him board their boat.
