Two arrested near Hilda, facing stolen property charges
REDCLIFF, AB — A 34-year-old man and 29-year-old woman are facing charges following alleged thefts in Cypress County earlier this week.
On Wednesday, officers in Redcliff joined with Saskatchewan RCMP members and RCMP police dog services regarding reports of two stolen vehicles and a robbery in the Hilda and Schuler area and into Saskatchewan. Two people were arrested, and multiple items of stolen property were recovered, including two stolen pickup trucks, a trailer, an ATV and two saddles.
According to a news release, some of the items were taken from Medicine Hat, while others were stolen in the area of Hilda and Schuler. Officers have spent much of the week investigating stolen vehicles, assaults, robbery and break and enters in the county.
