Cypress County has lifted its fire restriction

Cypress County lifted its fire restriction on Tuesday, June 4, with the current weather patterns in the region.

They had put a restriction in place a month earlier, on May 4; however, precipitation has provided soil moisture in southeast Alberta over the past week.

At this time, the County will not be issuing burn permits, and recreational fires continue to be allowed.
