Tigers looking for bounce back effort in Game 2 of Eastern Conference Finals

Apr 25, 2026 | 12:00 PM

The Medicine Hat Tigers will look to bounce back following an 8-3 Game 1 loss tonight in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Prince Albert Raiders.

The Tigers were held to just one goal in each period in the Game 1 defeat and will look to spark more offense while quelling the four-line attack of the Raiders in Game 2.

The Raiders saw seven different skaters find the back of the net in Game 1, as the Tigers got Tiger’d for the first time this postseason.

Medicine Hat went without a power play in Game 1 and went just one for four on the penalty kill in the five-goal defeat.

Jonas Woo and Ethan Neutens were out of the lineup in Game 1, and it remains to be seen if they will be back in the lineup for Medicine Hat in Game 2.

Jordan Switzer will be the presumptive Game 2 starter after Carter Casey allowed eight goals on 39 Prince Albert shots in the 8-3 defeat.

Casey and Switzer have traded starts since the opening game of the East Semi-Finals, and that trend does not appear to be stopping tonight.

Medicine Hat now trails in a postseason series for the first time since the East Quarter-Finals back in 2024, when they lost in five games to the Red Deer Rebels.

Puck drop for Game 2 goes tonight at 7:00 p.m MST with the pre-game show beginning at 6:45 p.m on WILD 94.5 FM.
