The Medicine Hat Health Foundation is celebrating its 30 Year Anniversary on Wednesday by hosting an afternoon tea, reflecting on three decades of impact.

The foundation welcomes loyal donors, board members, volunteers, and the public to see the impact made on the lives of patients and staff at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital, and will look forward to what’s next in the advancement of local healthcare.

From 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at The Crisp Café, the event is taking place in the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital’s level 1 cafeteria.

The Yuill Family Foundation is set to make a special announcement in support of improved women’s breast health care in Medicine Hat, while also sharing how to support the Yuill Foundation’s new and ongoing campaigns to support healthcare throughout the region into the future.

Since 1996, the Medicine Hat Health Foundation has funded essential healthcare equipment, supported advanced training for professionals and improved local facilities through community donations, guided by its motto “together we can, because together we always have.”

The foundation has seven employees and a board of 10 community leaders, and has raised more than $24 million for local healthcare, including over $1 million in programs and equipment in recent years, supporting more than 250,000 people in southeastern Alberta.
