Educational ‘This Bud’s For You’ walk offers guided look at seasonal native plants

The Medicine Hat Interpretive Program is hosting a free evening walk taking place at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 16, at Police Point Park to learn more about native plants in the area.

The “This Bud’s For You” walk is an educational outdoor event about plant identification and the Nature Alberta’s Plantwatch program.

With the Spring season underway, participants will have a chance to see the plants that are starting to bloom and show leaves, along with other seasonal displays for attendees to view.

Participants are encouraged to bring books and field guides.
