The Spring Rodeo returns to kick off the 2026 Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede season

The Broncs and Honky Tonks Indoor Spring Rodeo returns to the Cypress Centre Fieldhouse on April 10 to 12, kicking off the 2026 Medicine Hat Exhibition and Stampede season.

Events including bull riding, barrel racing, saddle bronc, bareback, tie-down, team roping, steer wrestling and steer riding will take place at the rodeo this weekend.

After the rodeo, the tradition continues with the Down in the Dirt dance on Friday and Saturday evenings, with admission included for those 18 and older with a rodeo ticket.

Organizers say the event offers an early-season opportunity for competitors, while giving fans a chance to enjoy rodeo action ahead of the summer schedule.

Officials add that the Spring Rodeo continues to be a family-friendly event, featuring close-up access to the arena and entertainment for all ages.
