Kaeley Jade is a Métis singer-songwriter based in Edmonton, blending folk, pop, and indie rock with lush imagery and stunning vocals. Her songwriting reflects both her own personal journey and inspirations from the gorgeous and dynamic landscapes of Alberta. Her new album, “The Great Unknown,” comes out April 10. Tickets, $10 or three for $24, are available at the Info Desk. Half of the proceeds for this concert will be donated to the Root Cellar Food & Wellness Hub.

AdventureSmart: Survival Kits, April 14, 4 p.m., Ages 13-19

Neurodivergent Young Adults (18+): Peer Support Group, April 18, 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Ages 18+

This peer support group is run by neurodivergent young adults with the support of members of the Medicine Hat Autism Society. It is a safe place for neurodivergent young adults (autistic, ADHD, and more) to visit and learn about resources that may be available to them.

Film Screening: Stolen Time, April 18, 2 p.m.

In partnership with the Palliser Friends of Medicare, we will be screening Stolen Time: a NFB documentary that follows elder rights lawyer Melissa Miller and hundreds of aggrieved families as they take on the corporate for-profit nursing-home industry—an industry notorious for its lack of transparency and accountability. Discussion to follow.
