Mar 31, 2026 | 10:34 PM

The Medicine Hat Tigers found their footing early and often in Game 3 as they stormed away with an 8-2 Game 3 victory over the Regina Pats to retake a one-game series lead.

Andrew Basha was the lone Tiger to find the back of the net twice in the win and was named the game’s first star.

Jordan Switzer was stellar for the Tigers, turning aside 25 of 27 shots, including a first-period penalty shot to keep the game 2-0, en route to being named the game’s second star.

Yaroslav Bryzgalov, Kade Stengrim, Bryce Pickford, Carter Cunningham, Noah Davidson, and Shaeffer Gordon-Carroll all found the back of the net in the eight-goal outing.

Regina saw goals from Ruslan Karimov and Liam Pue.

Marek Schlenker was pulled after allowing five goals on 18 shots through 32 minutes.

Taylor Tabashniuk played the remainder of the game, making 17 saves on 20 shots.

The Tigers now lead the best-of-seven series 2-1 and will look to take a commanding three games to one series lead tomorrow night in Game 4.
