Power Outage
Power has been restored after an outage hits downtown and South Hill areas of Medicine Hat

Several locations in downtown Medicine Hat have reported power outages around 1 p.m. on Wednesday, but all have been restored as of 2:30 p.m.
By 1:40 p.m., the City of Medicine Hat confirmed that power was restored to a majority of the customers, with crews working on the final adjustments.
At 1:14 p.m. they City stated that the unplanned outage was affecting 1,354 customers in the downtown and South Hill areas.
The city stated at the time that crews were determining the cause of the outage and actively troubleshooting the issue, with an estimated time of restoration at less than 30 minutes.
