Medicine Hat Tigers double up the Brandon Wheat Kings 6-3

Medicine Hat Tigers captain Bryce Pickford netted his third hat-trick of the season as the Medicine Hat Tigers defeated the Brandon Wheat Kings 6-3.

Pickford now has 41 goals this season, the most by any Western Hockey League defenseman in the last 30 years.

Liam Ruck and Jonas Woo each added three assists in the win.

Noah Davidson, Markus Ruck, and Andrew Basha also added singles on the night.

Jordan Switzer was steady in the pipes for the Tigers, making 26 saves on 29 shots.

The Wheat Kings saw goals come from Luke Mistelbacher and Nicholas Johnson, who netted a pair.

Brandon netminder Filip Ruzicka was busy, turning aside 48 of 53 Tiger shots in the loss.

The Tigers will now return home to battle the Red Deer Rebels on Friday night.
