Waterline break impacting Dunmore businesses

Cypress County released a statement on Thursday, Feb. 26, at 1 p.m. regarding a waterline break impacting businesses in Dunmore.

“Water is currently unavailable for businesses along Bullshead Road in Dunmore due to a water line break. We have crews on scene and are going door-to-door to explain the situation to affected customers,” the statement read.

Bullshead Road is located southeast of Medicine Hat on the north side of the Trans Canada Highway.

The County updated at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday that the waterline is repaired and the line has been flushed.

They added that a larger system flush will take place on Friday, followed by the collection of bacteriological samples to ensure water quality standards are met.
