Medicine Hat and several southern Alberta communities set temperature records on Wednesday
Temperatures reached double digits in southern Alberta on Wednesday, and several temperature records fell.
Medicine Hat set a new record, reaching 17.9 C, breaking a 34-year-old mark of 15.7 C from 1992.
Lethbridge was the first community in Canada to hit the 20-degree mark in 2026 according to The Weather Network.
On Wednesday, Lethbridge hit 20.6 C, but that was shy of the record for the community.
