Markus Ruck, Yaroslav Bryzgalov, and Carter Casey named to WHL Prospects Game

Medicine Hat Tigers players Markus Ruck, Yaroslav Bryzgalov, and Carter Casey were named to Team East for the upcoming WHL Prospects Game happening February 18th in Vancouver.

They join Tigers forward Liam Ruck, who was one of three skaters named to the initial rosters.

Markus Ruck leads all CHL skaters with 51 assists on the season and was the 31st-ranked North American skater according to NHL Central Scouting’s mid-term rankings.

Bryzgalov sits sixth on the Tigers in scoring with 34 points through 40 games this season and was the 99th-ranked North American skater.

Rounding out the Tigers selections is 2007-born netminder Carter Casey.

Casey boasts an 11-3-2-0 record on the season along with a 3.32 GAA a 0.876 SV%, and one shutout.

The Grand Rapids, MN, native was the 12th-ranked North American goaltender according to NHL Central Scouting.

The inaugural WHL Prospects Game goes on February 18th in Vancouver between Team West and Team East at 7:00 p.m PST from the Langley Events Center.
