One dead after falling through ice at Rattlesnake Lake

Bow Island Emergency Services has confirmed that an individual who fell through the ice at Rattlesnake Lake has died.

The Bow Island Fire Department was dispatched to Rattlesnake Lake on Thursday at 9:43 p.m. after reports of a patient who had fallen through the ice.

Multiple crews responded to the call, the individual was located and retrieved, but did not survive.

Emergency Services reminds the public to use care and attention if they choose to go out on the ice.
