Jan 2, 2026 | 10:42 PM

The Medicine Hat Tigers defeated the Moose Jaw Warriors 6-3 to extend their win streak to 14 games in the return of Andrew Basha, who scored in his first game of the season.

The Tabbies got six goals from six different goal scorers, marking the sixth straight game the Tigers have had at least five different players find the back of the net.

Cam Parr scored a shorthand goal, the third shortie the Tabbies have scored over their last two games.

Noah Davidson, Liam Ruck, Bryce Pickford, and Jonas Woo added singles for the Tigers, with Woo, Pickford, and Ruck all extending point streaks.

After giving up the opening five goals, the Warriors offense finally got on the board late in the second with Ethan Semeniuk’s ninth of the year.

The Warriors added a pair of late third-period goals courtesy of Landen McFadden and Brady Ness.

Jordan Switzer got the win for the Tigers, turning aside 16 of 19 shots.

The Warrior goaltending was split between Kyle Jones, who was pulled after allowing four goals on 17 shots, and 2010-born Dylan Mingo, who made his first WHL appearance and allowed two on 24.

The two teams run it back tomorrow night in Moose Jaw for the fourth and final time this regular season.
