Brooks Bandits trade forward Chemrouk to Coquitlam Express for future considerations

The Brooks Bandits have traded forward Kamyl Chemrouk to the Coquitlam Express for future considerations.

The 2007-born Chemrouk from Montreal, Que., was in his first season with the Bandits.

Through 24 BCHL games with the team, he had 17 points with eight goals.

Chemrouk played two games in the Quebec Maritimes Hockey League last season with the Victoriaville Tigres.

He is committed to play NCAA hockey in 2026-27 with the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Engineers in Troy, N.Y.

The Bandits play next on Saturday, Jan. 3, when they host the West Kelowna Warriors at the Centennial Regional Arena.

Game time is 7:00 p.m.
