Water services restored for Walsh; boil water advisory could be lifted on Monday

Water service was restored to all of the customers in the Hamlet of Walsh by Sunday afternoon after a water main leak was identified on Friday morning.

Cypress County crews worked to restore water to all but four customers by Friday afternoon.

The County expects the boil-water order from Alberta Health Services for Walsh to be lifted by Monday afternoon.

The order is to have customers bring water to a rolling boil for at least one minute before using it for drinking, brushing teeth, washing raw foods, and making ice.
