The Mustard Seed continues to support the most vulnerable this Christmas

Dec 22, 2025 | 1:29 PM

The Mustard Seed will be offering a traditional meal and on-site support at its shelter location in Medicine Hat for registered shelter guests on Christmas Day, as part of its annual holiday program.

Throughout December, The Mustard Seed will continue to provide a steady presence for individuals experiencing homelessness through daily shelter and outreach services.

“Christmas is a time for joy and togetherness, but for many of our neighbours, it can also bring hardship and heartache,” Director of Community & Volunteer Engagement David Conrad said.

“At The Mustard Seed, we are grateful for the communities that come alongside us with generosity and compassion. Together, we can ensure everyone has something to celebrate this Christmas.”

Medicine Hat residents can support The Mustard Seed this Christmas by donating, volunteering, and helping spread the word.

Financial contributions help provide meals, essential supports, and seasonal care throughout the holidays.

Volunteers support programming during the Christmas season and into the new year.

The Mustard Seed’s work can be shared on social media by using #HopeGrowsHere, and donations can be made at TheSeed.ca.
