NO WATER FOR 72 HOURS

The water service in Walsh has been partially restored, with a boil water order now in place

Dec 19, 2025 | 10:48 AM

Service has been restored to all but four customers following a water main leak in Walsh, while a boil-water order is in effect for the rest of the community.

The order is to have customers bring water to a rolling boil for at least one minute before using it for drinking, brushing teeth, washing raw foods, and making ice.

The fire hall will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. to pick up bottled water.

Cypress County issued the advisory on Friday at 8 a.m. that water was unavailable in Walsh.

The leak had prompted emergency crews from Cypress County to attend the hamlet as they worked to restore water services to the community.

The update at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 19, 2025, expected the disruption to last at least 72 hours.
