Strathmore man faces drug and weapons charges in Kindersley

Dec 15, 2025 | 12:58 PM

A 43-year-old Strathmore man faces drug and weapons charges in Saskatchewan.

Kindersley RCMP seized 2.1 kilograms of methamphetamine and arrested the man in a business parking lot in Kindersley, after receiving the report of suspicious activity on Dec. 11, 2025, and immediately responding and locating the truck.

In addition to methamphetamine, officers found ammunition and over $87,000 in cash.

Resulting from continued investigation, Jason Pollo was charged with trafficking methamphetamine, possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, and weapons possession contrary to order.

Pollo is scheduled to appear in Kindersley Provincial Court on Jan. 20, 2026.

Kindersley RCMP continue to investigate.

“We won’t tolerate those who choose to introduce dangerous goods – like illicit drugs – into our community,” says S/Sgt. Sebastian Andrews, the Kindersley RCMP detachment commander.

“That’s why we are out actively patrolling, and why we follow up on reports of suspicious activity. Through dedication and hard work, Kindersley RCMP stopped more than 20,000 ‘doses’ of methamphetamine from circulating through our detachment area.”
