Brooks to host U11 AA Provincial Hockey Championship

Hockey Alberta announced locations for the 2026 Provincial Hockey Championships through social media on Monday, Dec 15.

The only location in southeast Alberta set to host a tournament is Brooks.

Provincials for the U11 AA teams will be held in the city from March 26-29, 2026.

Forty teams from across the province and northeast BC compete in three different conferences in the U11 AA age group. In only the second season, this level of competition has been classified for play in Alberta.

The Southern Alberta team include the Brooks Jr. Bandits, Taber Golden Suns, Medicine Hat Hounds, Lethbridge Hurricanes Red, and Lethbridge Hurricanes White.
