Parked vehicle hit by train in Brooks

City Peace Officers in Brooks notified the RCMP of a train-versus-vehicle collision in the city on November 20, 2025, at 7:48 p.m.

The investigation determined that during the “Christmas in the Park” event, a vehicle had been parked on the railway tracks behind City Hall.

The unoccupied vehicle was later struck by a train.

No injuries were reported.
