Medicine Hat Police arrest suspect after alarms sound at 8th Street business

The Medicine Hat Police Service responded to multiple alarms at a business located in the 000 block of 8th Street NW on Nov. 10, 2025.

The police said a person was fleeing the scene upon arrival, but has been arrested and charged with Break & Enter and Commit Theft.

The suspect, later identified as Sherie Knowles-Hicks, was held for a judicial hearing and subsequently released with a court appearance scheduled for Dec. 2, 2025.

The investigation is ongoing.
