CBSA seeking escaped immigration detainee in Calgary

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) says they are working with police forces to locate an escaped immigration detainee in Calgary.

Indian national, Jagdeep Singh, escaped Wednesday night from the Rockyview Hospital in Calgary while undergoing medical assessment.

Singh is under investigation by the CBSA for suspicion of engaging in organized crime under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911. The CBSA and police ask that you please do not attempt to apprehend this individual yourself.
