Medicine Hat City Council to consider budget and bylaw amendments on Monday

Medicine Hat City Council will hold a council meeting on Monday, Nov. 17, with the earlier 4 p.m. start as the new standard.

The meeting’s agenda includes several presentations from city staff, with amendments recommended in both Utilities Rates and Energy Production for bylaws and budgets.

Budget amendments are recommended for the Land and Real Estate department.

A recommendation will also be made during the meeting to appoint an additional member to the Palliser Economic Partnership Board.

Included during the meeting will be a delegation from the Medicine Hat Women’s Shelter Society, where Executive Director Natasha Carvalho will present on Family Violence Prevention Month.
