Sanare Centre launches ‘Superhero Search’ program to bring full-time facility dog to Medicine Hat
The “Superhero Search” community campaign has been launched by the Sanare Centre in Medicine Hat to raise $25,000 to bring in a full-time facility dog.
The Sanare Centre executive director, Christina Johnson, said Sanare means “to heal” in Latin.
“It’s a reflection of our mission, and that’s to help people feel safe, supported, and to be able to heal,” Johnson said.
The facility dog will support children, survivors, and families who seek help following trauma and abuse.
