Medicine Hat Police looking for individuals who fired shots from vehicle in city’s downtown

The Medicine Hat Police Service is asking the public for assistance to identify two individuals involved in an incident where witnesses reported a BB gun being discharged from a vehicle toward people in the downtown core.

On Oct. 2, 2025, at about 8:20 p.m., video surveillance captured images of the suspect vehicle in the 400 block of Third Street SE.

Police said that one witness reported that the same vehicle may have been involved in similar incidents in the past.

The vehicle is described as a navy-blue Ford F-150 extended cab pickup equipped with chrome running boards, chrome wheel well trim, and a chrome toolbox mounted in the bed.

Police said the driver is described as a caucasian male, and the passenger as a caucasian female, both believed to be in their early twenties.
