Medicine Hat set to host Alberta Zone Baseball Championship

Medicine Hat is hosting the 2025 Alberta Zone Baseball Championship this weekend starting Friday and running through Sunday at Athletic Park and Jeffries Park.

The top U15 players from across the province will take to the diamond representing their zone.

There are six Medicine Hat players playing for zone one in the tournament Burke Morrison from the Intermediate Junior Mavs, and Gavin Russell, Kade Velichko, Jace Berner, Becket Lybbert, and Dylan Harnett from the 15U AA Majestics.

Eight provincial zones will compete at the event.

The tournament kicks off at noon on Friday and wraps up with medal presentations after the championship games on Sunday.
