HALO Air Ambulance holding barbecue fundraiser today

HALO Day is taking place today from the Adapt Mobility and Napa Auto Parts parking lot.

The annual call for financial support helps with operational funding for HALO Air Ambulance, to allow it to continue delivering lifesaving care throughout southern Alberta.

Both Wild 94.5 and MY96 FM are onsite at HALO Day, broadcasting live from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

A charity BBQ will also take place at 1023 Trans Canada Way S.E. today from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

For $5 you get a burger, chips, water, all proceeds supporting the organization.

You will hear stories throughout the day from people HALO has impacted and saved.

HALO Air Ambulance has been in operation since 2007 and receives less than half of their operating budget from the Government of Alberta, according to the organization.

It helps fill the funding gap through donations from individuals, businesses and municipalities.

Donations will be accepted at Adapt Mobility and Napa Auto Parts or at donate@haloairambulance.com.
