Batsel tops among four Medicine Hat area golfers at Mickelson National Invitational
Four Medicine Hat area golfers competed in a field of 90 at the three day Mickelson National Invitation in Calgary, which wrapped up Saturday.
Desert Blume Golf Club assistant golf pro Dillon Batsel was tied for the lead after day one, shooting a 5 under par 67, before shooting a par 72 day two, and a 5 over par 77 on day three.
His effort earned him a tie for sixth, and a $7,100 prize, seven shots back of top spot.
Other locals included three amateurs.
