Cypress County firefighters help put out grass fire north west of Bow Island

The Bow Island Fire Department was dispatched to a grass fire near Highway 879 and Townshop Road 112A on Monday at 3 p.m.
Multiple resources were sent to battle the blaze to the north west of Bow Island.
Burdett Fire and Rescue and Cypress County Fire Services were called for assistance.
Bow Island Fire said that several local farmers also showed up with water trucks to offer additional support.
