City singles tournament kicks off tennis season in Medicine Hat

The city singles tournament begins Thursday at the Medicine Hat Tennis Club, as the first tournament of the year.

There will be 35 players competing in the event that runs through until Sunday with the championship finals.

Divisions will include both mens and womens open, as well as mens intermediate.

The public is welcome to come watch at the Medicine Hat Tennis Club adjacent to the Crestwood Recreation Centre.
