Brooks Bandits holding BCHL championship parade

The Brooks Bandits are holding a British Columbia Hockey League championship parade after the team won its first Fred Page Cup on Sunday.

The parade starts Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. at The Brick parking lot on Second Street West in Brooks.

The parade route will travel to Veteran’s Park beside city hall where fans will be able to hear from dignitaries, players and the team.

A free hot dog barbecue will also take place.

Prior to entering the BCHL, the Bandits have won the national junior A championship four times, the Western Canada Cup once and the Alberta Junior Hockey League title seven times.
