Passenger air lifted to Medicine Hat after motor vehicle collision west of Bow Island

The Bow Island Fire Department was dispatched to a motor vehicle collision between two semi tractor trailers over the noon hour on Wednesday.

The collision took place at the intersection of Highway 3 and Highway 879.

Firefighters extricated one patient who was then flown to Medicine Hat by HALO Air Ambulance with undisclosed injuries.
