Two men leaving Brooks bar assaulted, police say

Brooks RCMP say two men were attacked outside Red Sea Bar last Saturday.

Police responded to a call at approximately 3:19 a.m. reporting an assault in progress at the bar, according to an RCMP news release.

Police arrived to find a man on the ground and heard from witnesses who said there was a verbal altercation earlier in the evening.

The altercation escalated when two men exited the bar and were allegedly assault by two others, police said.

Security camera footage corroborates what the witnesses reported, according to the release.
