Online ticket sales for Medicine Hat Tigers open after temporary shutdown

Mar 25, 2025 | 12:10 PM

Medicine Hat Tigers playoff tickets are currently available again online through Tixx.ca, after the company temporarily shut down the site following an inundation of sales.

Tickets are also available for purchase at Co-op Place in-person through the box office, and at the Esplanade Arts and Heritage Centre.

For those who have purchased online tickets but haven’t received confirmation, Tixx is advising people to check their account as they may already be there.

Otherwise, Tixx will be reaching out to all ticket holders in the coming days.

A form has been set up for those experiencing issues getting their online tickets.

Ticket sales for the general public for games one and two of the Tigers Round One series with the Swift Current Broncos went on sale Monday at noon.

Trampas Brown, the city’s manager of guest experience and operations, said over 10,000 tickets were sold between Monday and Tuesday.

He said people with extra tickets should not resell but wait until Tixx support contacts them.

Brown encourages everyone to buy tickets directly to ensure authenticity.

“We’ve never seen this level of demand in Medicine Hat in such a short period of time,” he said.

“It’s really exciting, but unfortunately, when the technology doesn’t work the way it’s supposed to, it can make for some challenges.”
